Congratulations to Team University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, winners of Mission Pizza Games 2016. This fun event on Feb. 18 brought together teams of energetic young people to compete in a pizza-making obstacle course to draw attention to the problem of hunger in our community and to introduce Palermo’s new Mission Pizza, which includes a built-in donation to charity. The UWM team, which included students from the Department of Kinesiology and the Nutritional Sciences Club, donated their $1,000 first-place prize to Riverwest Food Pantry in Milwaukee. Way to go!
